Buffet Car

Our buffet car offers passengers a spot of light refreshment to be enjoyed alongside the charming Cambridgeshire countryside. We serve fresh filter coffee, tea, chilled soft drinks and a selection of alcohol, which includes, on special event days, a selection of real ales.

Groups and Parties

From birthdays to group lunches to corporate events, we are happy to cater for larger groups or parties on the train or in the café, serving traditional ploughman’s lunches, high tea and cream teas.

Children’s parties are incredibly popular and can be catered for with our children’s boxes which include half sandwich, yoghurt, crisps, fruit, chocolate bar and a juice box. For early starters, we offer our ‘breakfast trip’ which includes muffins, croissants and smoothies.

Private charters are available for visitors who require something that little bit extra special. Our Swedish Railcar can be chartered for drinks and canapé receptions, or, for fully catered charters, we will work with you to create a bespoke menu tailored to suit your culinary needs.

For groups using our Study Centre, lunches or finger buffets can be provided.

Our home-made, beautifully hand decorated celebration cakes make a wonderful accompaniment to any of the above catering options and can be decorated to your specification.
