NOTICE: Venue update

All meetings are at the
Cherry Tree Public House in
Oundle Road, Peterborough and
commence at 7.30 pm
A contribution of £1 per
member and £2 per visitor will
be payable on the night of the
meeting to help defray expenses.

Wednesday February 10th

David Benjamin will return to show more digital photos and videos of “Preserved steam from the 1970’s, 80’s and 90’s”

Wednesday March 10th

Frank Banfield, “Further Cine films from the Archives.” A chance to see more old commercial cine films on transport subjects.

Wednesday April 14th

Robin Cullup, “The Kettering to Cambridge Branch” An illustrated history.

Wednesday October 13th

Bill Davies will once again return to continue with his tales “On and Off the Footplate.”
Wednesday November 10th

John Harradine will give an illustrated talk on “The Great Northern Route, Peterborough to Kings Cross in the 1970s”.
Wednesday December 8th

Ron Hart “The London and Birmingham Railway in its early days” Ron will return to continue his journey north our of London using J C Bourne’s famous lithographs of his 1836 and more recent photographs and videos.

Wednesday January 12th

David Benjamin will return with a varied programme: “Main Line and Preserved Railway Steam on DVD”.
Wednesday February 9th

Tommy Tomlin will return to continue his journey along “The Northampton to Peterborough Line,’” with historic slides from the latter years of the line. He will also include scenes of the Rugby Peterborough Ely line.
Wednesday March 9th
David Leggett will talk on the London Jubilee Line Extension Project (10 miles from Stratford to Green Park) opened in 1999.
Wednesday April 13th
Nigel Trotter will talk on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway Bridge 30 Reconstruction Project.
