19th June 2009	Deltic D9009 Alycidon will be arriving at Nene Valley Railway. Nene Valley Railway are pleased to announce that it has finally concluded the deal to take society loco D9009 ALYCIDON for the remainder of the summer/autumn season The loco is booked to depart from Barrow Hill next Tuesday. 23rd June, timings will be posted when known. The final operating dates will be at the NVR Gala 3rd / 4th Oct FOOTPLATE EXPERIENCE DAYS Part of the deal includes the operation of these very successful events, again details to follow. Priority given to DPS & NVR members, if you wish to express your interest please e mail to vloATthedps.co.uk (replace AT with@). Please title your e mail Footplate Exp and quote your DPS/NVR M/ship number. DPS MEMBERS DAY. This will be held at the NVR sometime in September, it will follow the format of the highly successful Members Days on the NYMR over the last few years. PLEASE COME ALONG AND SUPPORT THE SOCIETY AND THE NVR WHO HAVE INVESTED A LOT IN THIS PROJECT.
