Steam Gala 2010
Come and ride in the comfort of the Fenman Club Car on the 11th or 12th of September
Take a seat and enjoy our Ploughman’s Lunch or Cream Tea served to you whilst enjoying a ride behind one of the many Steam Locomotive in action at the gala.
A supplement of £6.50 is payable for the Ploughman’s lunch, you can also book in advance your rover ticket whilst booking lunch.

Together with your Name, Address, Age & Contact Number. You could win a family ticket to go on Thomas' Halloween Train.
There are three age catagories: Under 5, 5-10, and 10-15.

OLD PHOTOGRAPH APPEAL
The Nene Valley Railway (Heritage & Archive Group) has a large collection of railway photographs which are currently being scanned and stored on our computer for eventual display.
If anyone has a collection of old photographs, (for example, acquired from a deceased relative) or that they wish to donate to us we would be interested in acquiring them.
Subjects of the photos should be any railway scene, engines, stations, railway infrastructure etc. relative to the Peterborough area within a radius of 50 miles, for example the Midland line to Leicester, the LNWR line to Northampton and Rugby, East Coast Main Line, M & GN and Great Eastern. The target period is broad being ideally from the beginning of railways to 1980. This covers the steam age to the first generation diesel.
Please, if you have any such photographs, leave any items with the Nene Valley Railway at the General Office, Wansford Station, Stibbington, Peterborough, PE8 6LR, together with your name and address, to enable us to issue a correct and formal acknowledgement.
