The International Railway Preservation Society.

Established at the Nene Valley Railway in November 07, Primary as a support organisation for the two Wagons-Lits carriages based at the Nene valley Railway, both in practical restoration and fund raising.

The society is not restricted entirely to the Wagons-Lits, although this is at present the principal goal and interest, however we are prepared to embrace other international items of rolling stock, both on and off the Nene valley Railway, although support for such projects will form entirely separate funds.

We therefore welcome aboard any other interested parties with continental rolling stock, or simply an interest in International railways.

A separate organisation exists in the UK with an interest in Wagons-Lits, this being the Wagons-Lits society, the society holds a wealth of information on the Wagons-Lits and it is hoped that the international railway preservation society and the wagons-Lits society can cooperate closely together as both have a common goal, albeit IRPS being largely a practical organisation and the Wagons-Lits society a wealth of historic information and records.
