Gift Aid Donations:
The government is willing to give us a quarter of the amount you pay us under     the gift aid scheme!  There are some conditions, set out below. Please su
pport us in this way, if you are eligible.

Visitors can chose to make a donation to us as payment for their admission to the Railway. If you are a UK tax   payer then, by filling in the gift aid declaration,     the Railway, as a charity, can claim a further 25% as gift aid. If you are fortunate enough to be a higher rate taxpayer, you will be ableto claim additional   tax relief in your tax return.

In order for us to claim Gift Aid, visitors must confirm, by signing our declaration, that they have or will have paid enough Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax for the current tax year (6 April to 5 April) to cover the amount that all charities and Community Amateur Sports Clubs (CASCs) they donate to will reclaim for that same tax year. Visitors should understand that other taxes such as VAT and Council Tax do not qualify. The     declaration you sign will cover present, not past or future donations. If you would like to sign a declaration to cover past or future donations please ask a member of staff.

No refunds can be given on donations. Should visitors be unable to fulfil their visit today they can return on another occasion.
You may only gift aid on donations made for yourself and your family.

This extra revenue will go towards helping us to preserve and restore our heritage railway and rolling stock for   the future. To reflect your generosity we offer a voucher to be spent at our shop or café within 3 months of the date of the donation. Thank you.
